Sunshine Place, Opening Soon

Riverside Nursing and Rehab is proud to offer an ALL FEMALE Memory Care Neighborhood, Sunshine Place.   This 24 bed intimate and secure specialty unit was created to enhance the Quality of Life and Safety for individuals progressing through each phase of Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, and Cognitive Deficits.  Call us, we’d love to tell you about our Gemstone Journey program.  We are currently accepting referrals for this specialized unit.

A Wonderful Christmas

Christmas was bright for the residents at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC by the generous donation of Christmas presents from Vineyard Church, Riverside Police and Fire Departments, the Salvation Army and Helzburg Diamonds.

We are so thankful for their kind gestures.  Our residents has a wonderful Christmas!!

How do I admit a loved one from home?
There are certain forms that need to be completed by the primary care physician including a History and Physical, admission order and a list of medications. The physician’s office will be familiar with these forms but please contact us; we would love to assist you.

What can I bring?
You may bring light personal items to include but not limited to: clothing, pictures of family, blankets, a cell phone, and small personal items.

Can I do my family member’s laundry?
Yes family may choose to do their loved one’s laundry.  Also, this option can be changed if needed.

How do I admit a loved one from the hospital?  What Information is Needed?
Please call the facility at 816.741.5105 and speak with the admissions department.  Someone will be happy to speak with you.

Is financial assistance available?
Our Admissions Director or Business Office Manager are available to meet with you to discuss your benefits with Medicare, Insurance and the criteria of Medicaid.

Visiting Booth Coming Soon

We are pleased to announce that we are in the process of building a visiting booth built so families and residents can enjoy a more personalized type of visit that isn’t through the window.  We will be contacting all current family members.  The visiting process will be by appointment with each appointment  lasting 30 min.  All visits must still comply with the CDC and Public Health guidelines set forth.

Having trouble adapting at home or recovering from a sports injury? We offer Physical, Occupational, & Speech Therapies. Available for Short Term Rehab, Outpatient, and Long Term Care patients.
